Initially I have no plans to write more blog posts about AADC2, but as a
camera geek photography enthusisast, couldn’t resist this one. Sorry
The two pics on the top are taken from AADC 2014 Mini Drama. And the bottom two are obviously from the movie itself (thank you Google Images!)
From the top pics, we can see Rangga carrying a Canon 5D Mark III + 70-200 f/2.8 lens. Sure a nice combo for pro work, but man these things are heavy. You will not want to lug this thing on your neck for some time. And for casual walk. again you probably don’t want to grab another people’s attention by looking like a journalist/paparazzi.
So he (or should I say FujiFilm Indonesia ) made a very wice decision: hey, use a compact camera. If you have a small camera which is capable of producing nice images and fun to use, why use those huge cameras? Not even a joy to carry around :p
And there you go, the FujiFilm X-T10, plus a 35mm f/2, I think (smaller than 35mm f/1.4, and still makes a nice lens for street photography/portrait).
This is one clever marketing move, FujiFilm Indonesia! :p
