Yesterday, 47 Years Ago

Yeah yeah I know, 1 day late.

On May 24, 1974, I placed the first Rush LP, on Moon Records, into rotation at WMMS in Cleveland. Back then, who could have predicted that 47 years later, Rush would still be so important in so many people's lives? I'm glad it turned out that way!

So 47 years ago, a female DJ at a radio station decided to play an unknown Canadian band’s track on air.

Well, I get up at seven, yeah
And I go to work at nine
I got no time for livin’
Yes, I’m workin’ all the time…

And the rest is history 🙂
